John F. Sanders

Photography first appealed to John while he was still in high school. He pursued his interest by volunteering to be the yearbook photographer at Lincoln High School. When he enrolled at the University of Nebraska, he took a job with the University photography department which allowed him to learn more about the field and get paid at the same time. After University, he stayed on as a full time employee for three years. Moving on to photo studios in the Lincoln and Omaha, Nebraska area. John did a lot of commercial photography and darkroom work. These connections put him in touch with General Dynamics Astronautics/Atlas Missile Division located in San Diego, California. John was responsible for photographing the production of the Atlas Missile, Lunar transportation vehicles and the Atlas missile installations in Plattsburg, New York.

Sanders Photography has been in business since 1973. Keeping up with the times, John has incorporated the new digital imaging into his line of services. As you can see on this website, many local and National clients are a part of John's portfolio. The Nebraska Association of Professional Photographers annually holds their state competition exhibits. In this competition, John Sanders repeatedly appeared on the "Top Ten" list of photographers in the state.
